Who Had the Better Season? is a project made by a college student and basketball fan: a game about how fans judge basketball. Pick between two NBA seasons, sometimes without knowing whose they are.

Data
Season stats, awards and team records come from the NBA Stats (1947–present) dataset by Sumitro Datta (public domain, CC0), compiled from Basketball-Reference.
Photos
Every photo is freely licensed (Creative Commons BY or BY-SA, CC0, or public domain) from Wikimedia Commons, credited under each matchup.
Privacy
- No accounts, no names, no email. Your browser gets an anonymous random ID in a cookie, so you can't vote twice on the same pair and we can show you your own stats.
- Your IP address is never stored. A one-way scrambled version is used only to stop vote spamming.
- We store your votes, skips and optional “did you recognize them?” answers, tied only to that random ID.
Fine print
An independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBA, its teams or its players. Player and team names are used only to identify the seasons being compared.
